Imagine this: I'm on a train traveling from Maryland to Richmond, VA. After several frustrating attempts to take photos with my cellphone, I finally decided to set it aside. Then, in a stroke of serendipity, I spotted something extraordinary and managed to capture it. From that moment on, I was completely hooked on photography.

As my 50th birthday drew near, I set an ambitious challenge for myself: to complete 50 photography adventures before I turned 50. With only two months remaining, I embarked on this creative journey. Each adventure brought me excitement and joy, yet I often found myself wondering if I could truly reach my goal. Now, with just five days left until my milestone birthday, I was on my final photography adventure in Washington D.C. at dawn.
